Tasty Steamed Fish with Spinach, Carrots….
Steamed Fish is a healthy option to cook and a high-protein food. The American Heart Association (AHA) recommends eating fish at least 2 times a week, particularly fatty fish. In this recipe I choose Mackerel, because its brain boosting omega-3 fatty acids content.
Mackerel can be cooked in many different ways, though baking, barbecuing, grilling, pan-frying and steamed are the most common.

Serves 2
Prep time : 30 minutes
Cook time : 15 minutes
Ingredients :
3 Carrots
1 bunch of spinach
a handful of cherry tomatoes
1 onion
garlic, herbs, spices
Himalayan salt to taste
1 lemon
1 avocado.
2 Mackerel filets.
How to make it ?
1- Steam the fish and season with lemon juice, salt, spices and herbs.
2- Steam the carrots and spinach and season.
3- In a frying pan sauté the shopped onion, garlic and cherry tomatoes. (You can add a little ghee or coconut oil).
4- On a plate place the fish, carrots, spinach. Cut the avocado in half and put the tomatoes inside the avocado.
5- Drizzle with extra-virgin organic olive oil. Add herbs .
