Flaxseeds Crackers in the morning or afternoon snacks are so good ! Especially when they are healthy.
Flaxseed is a plant-based food also called “functional food”, which means that when you eat you boost your health. The nutrients in flaxseeds include lignans (a type of phytoestrogens that acts in a similar way to estrogen), antioxidants, fiber, protein, polyunsaturated fatty acids such as alpha-linoleic acid (ALA), or omega-3.
They also contains phytosterols that have a similar structure to cholesterol, but they help prevent the absorption of cholesterol in the intestines.
It is also a good source of insoluble fiber, which may help prevent constipation.

Prep. Time = 15 minutes
Cook time = 25 minutes
Ingredients :
- 1 cup of flaxseeds grounded
- 1 cup of oat flakes
- 1/2 cup of chia seeds
- 15 g of sesame seeds
- 2 tsp of pumpkin seeds
- 2 tsp of sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup of coconut oil or butter
- salt to taste
All ingredients are organic !
How to make it :
1 – In a bowl put all ingredients .
2 – Work with hands until to form a homogeneous dough.
3 – On a smooth surface, take a parchment paper and roll out the dough, and with a rolling pin, roll it out until thin.
4 – With a knife, cut the dough in rectangles or rounds or as you prefer.
5 – Place in a preheat oven at 160°c and bake around 25 minutes.
6 – Remove from the oven and let it cool.
You can storage the crackers in a container for 10 days.
