This Alpine bread combines a healthy spelt flour and sweet potatoes. You can serve as an appetizer or maybe to your breakfast or afternoon snack.

Cook time: 25 minutes
Ingredients:
300g spelt flour
2 sweet potatoes (size medium)
150ml of water
30g of fresh yeast
1 tsp of Himalayan salt
dried rosemary
Hazelnuts or walnuts to decorate
How to make spelt flour bread:
1 – In a bowl put the spelt flour and salt.
2 – peel the potatoes and grate raw.
3 – Add to the spelt flour and mix well.
4 – Dissolve yeast in a little warm water and add to moisture. Mix well and add water gradually until it forms a homogeneous dough, and does not stick to the hands. If it needs you can add more water or no.
5 – Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rest for about 30 minutes to levitate. After that, knead the dough again and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and make the dough in the shape of a pine tree.
6 – Let the dough to levitate for approximately more 30 minutes. After that drizzle with rosemary and decorate with the nuts of your choice.
7 – Place into the pre-heated oven at 180c, and bake it for about 25 minutes.
8 – Remove from the oven and now it’s ready to serve . Enjoy!
