Green juice reduces inflammation in your body, which is the root of virtually every chronic disease process. To achieve the benefits of juicing, you must consume the juice immediately after it’s done. Juicing is a good way for you to consume more vegetables and green leafs.
But remember that all the ingredients should be organic and fresh.
Celery – is a good source of potassium, folate, manganese, pantothenic acid and dietary fiber. Also vitamin A, vitamins B-2 and B-6 and vitamin C. Decrease in LDL cholesterol, lower blood pressure , reduces inflammation and allergies.
Kale – contains fiber, antioxidants, calcium, vitamins C and K, iron and others nutrients that can help prevent various health problems. Kale is also rich in potassium.
Parsley – is rich in flavonoids and helps prevent skin cancer and diabetes. Parsley contains vitamin C and K, which improve bone health.
Cabbage – is a cruciferous vegetable. The sulforaphane found in cabbage may help protect against cancer. Cabbage provides vitamin C, vitamin K, magnesium, folate, calcium, potassium and the antioxidants choline, beta-carotene, lutein and zeaxanthin. Flavonoides such as kaempferol, quercetin and apigenin.
Ingredients :
- 4 celery stalk
- 4 cabbage leaves or 2 large kale leaves
- handful of fresh parsley
- 1 green apple
- 1 lemon, peeled
- a little piece of ginger
- 1/2 cup of water
How to make it :
1 – Wash all ingredients well
2 – Chop your veggies to fit through the juicer
3 – Pour juice into a glass and enjoy immediately .
