How is cultivated the Santa Helena Organic coffee?
Santa Helena’s coffee grows in the Southern Mountains of the State of Minas Gerais in Brazil, at an altitude of 1200 meters. That’s why the coffee has a special flavor.
The coffee grows naturally within the shade of lush forests , providing a home for wild animals and plants, sustaining soil fertility and an alive ecosystem.
The coffee lies on the large farm terraces, where it dries by the sun, exactly as in 1816 when the first coffee plantation began. Therefore, the coffee does not go through any process and is done manually, from planting to harvest, and drying.
It is Organic certified by AAO (Association of Organic Agriculture), International Organic Certification USDA, Fairtrade and BIO INSPECTA in Switzerland.

Finally it is Ground by hand. That is to say, respecting ancient traditions.
It does not go through any chemical, mechanical or blending process.
