What means coffee Lungo?
Coffee Capsules Lungo is a beverage made by using an espresso machine to make an Italian style coffee. It is short black with more water, resulting in a larger coffee, a lungo.
Coffee capsules lungo is less strong than an espresso.
Where does the Santa Helena’s coffee come from?
The coffee grown in the Southern mountains of the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil. It is certified Organic by AAO ( Association of Organic Agriculture) USDA international, Fairtrade and Bio Inspecta in Switzerland.
- Fine coffee, with a real superior quality.
- It brings a distinctive aroma with a low level of residual acidity.
- Accentuated sweetness with notes of caramel, chocolate, honey, hints of walnuts and fruits.
The coffee comes in green beans directly from Brazil to Engadin in Switzerland where the roasting process done on a wood-burning roaster. As a result, this process gives the coffee a special flavor.
It is ground by hand, respecting ancient traditions.
It does not go through any chemical, mechanical or blending process.

The wood for our coffee capsules comes from sustainable sources, PEFC Forestry in Southern Germany.
That is to say, they use wood fibres from residual products such as sawdust. PEFC organization has been working for sustainable and transparent forestry since 1999.
PEFC stands for the English “Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes.
Our coffee capsule does not contain any fossil plastics (plastic). Therefore it is free from Microplastic even during decomposition and no microplastics can occur thanks to 100% bio-based ingredients.
Our coffee capsule can completely return to nature after use.
Due to 100% renewable and biodegradable raw materials there is technically disposal via the bio bin or your compost nothing stands in the way.
They come from the natural cycle of our earth and can return to it in the same way. Therefore it is ultimately secondary how you dispose of them. What is important is what is in it!
