Beetroot Juice

Beetroot juice with lemon, beets and celery.

Do you know the benefits of drinking beetroot juice?

Beet juice may help lower your blood pressure. Researchers found that people who drank 1 glass of beet juice daily lowered both systolic and diastolic blood pressure.

Nitrates are compounds in beet juice that convert into nitric oxide in the blood, helping relax blood vessels. Also boosts physical performance and increase muscles power, by improving the efficiency of mitochondria, which are responsible for producing energy in your cells.

Beets are a good source of potassium, a mineral and electrolyte that helps nerves and muscles function properly.

Celery is crispy, crunchy and actually has a number of health benefits that may surprise you. Because it is a great source of important antioxidants.

Antioxidants protect cells, blood vessels, and organs from oxidative damage.

Celery contains vitamin C, beta carotene, and flavonoids, but there are at least 12 additional kinds of antioxidant nutrients found in a single stalk. Also reduces inflammation, supports digestion and has an alkalizing effect.

In this juice I combined beets, lemon and celery which is also rich in potassium and water , helping you stay hydrated.

Ingredients for beetroot juice:

Serving = 1 glass

  • 2 Beetroots
  • 4 celery stalks
  • 1 lemon

How to make it

In a juice extractor pass all the ingredients. It’s good to drink right after being made !
