What is the blood circulatory system?
The blood circulatory system or cardiovascular system delivers oxygen and nutrients to all cells in the body. The heart and blood vessels are responsible for running it through the entire body.
The arteries carry blood away from the heart and veins carry it back to the heart.
The main artery is Aorta and it branches into large arteries, which lead to smaller, and smaller vessels. These smaller arteries are know as capillary network. This network of roadways carries blood to every corner of your body.
But when your circulation is poor, it slows or blocks the blood flow. Than, what’s happen?
The cells can’t get all the oxygen and nutrients they need. When your limbs can’t get enough blood, you may feel your hands and feet cold ou numb and your legs might get a blue tinge. It also can dry your skin, turn your nails brittle and your hair fall out, tingling, pain, muscle cramps, nerve damage etc.
Most people experience it at one time or another. Often these feelings go away on its own, because as the result of how you positioning your body. But sometimes you can experience other symptoms that are more serious.
Your body has 2 circulatory systems :
The pulmonary circulation with about 9% of the blood and the heart’s circulation with 7% of blood. The remaining 84% is located in the systemic circulation, with 64% in the veins, 13% in the arteries and 7% in the arterioles and capillaries.
Now you can understand the role of the cardiovascular system plays in human health, with every cell of every tissue dependent on its function to survival. Oxygen, nutrients, hormones and transport system for the immune cells responsible for protecting the body from disease, are some examples.
How you can improve your circulation ?
There are several ways…
1- Exercise is a great way to combat your issues with poor circulation. Any exercise that gets your blood pumping will be beneficial. Ex: walking.
2- Get a massage which can also estimulate your body’s flow, and speed up your circulation.
3- Drink water is a good way to combat circulation issues. Water helps to keep things flowing throughout your body such as flush of toxins.
4- Stop smoking because it causes blood vessels to constrict decreasing the amount of blood that is able to flow through these vessels.
I have another good suggestion for you:
HAVE YOU HEARD OF BEMER ?
Bemer devices use a pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) to deliver a patented therapeutic signal.
Stimulating healthy muscles and temporarily increasing blood circulation in your leg muscles are the primary goal of BEMER.
Just 8 minutes, twice a day, BEMER will stimulate your muscle cells for better health and wellbeing
As the blood provides oxygen and nutrients to the cells, the cells in turn transfer carbon dioxide and waste products to the red blood cells, which are then processed through the veins.
SO, WHAT IS PEMF THERAPY ?
It produces electromagnetic fields with various waveforms and frequencies that stimulate healthy muscles in order to improve and facilitate muscle performance.
Did you know eletricity is running throughout your body right now ? All living things generate eletricity and without it we cannot live ! The elements in our cells such as oxygen, hydrogen and carbon, carry different eletrical charges to create electricity and send vital signals to different parts of the body.
